DADS are here to help each other - all over the world

Ever feel a little isolated as a father? Feel a need for a little supportive companionship? Or do you feel lost as a father because of some circumstance, like being a stay-at-home dad, or a widowed dad, or a stepdad?

In Australia, dads and other men can join a DADS group where they find a supportive network of men working together and building positive futures for people who have a disability or health issue in our lives and families. Now, the idea of DADS is spreading to many different countries.

The idea of DADS

• Men can and will make a difference and help with changes to create a more productive life for people with a disability or health problem.
• A network of dads and other men who experience a common bond by sharing the problems they face in everyday life. It is also a place to share concerns and frustrations and find ideas to help in your own circumstances.
• Or just make new friends and find support for each other by sharing experiences whenever needed.
